Sexual offences includes a broad range of category offences committed against a child/youth or adult as defined in the Canadian Criminal Code. These may include sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual touching, intercourse, voyeurism, and threats of sexual violence. The nature of these crimes means that victims may experience physical, emotional, psychological, and sexual impacts unique among crime victims.
