Children and Youth

Child Abuse may include physical abuse, neglect, sexual abuse and violence committed by another individual or group of individuals. These criminal offences may or may not be reported to authorities but in all instances cause significant harm and trauma to the young victims who are subject to this abuse.

The Victim Justice Network highlights research, information and resources that focus on the impacts of abuse on child/youth victims and how to support these children and youth with their recovery from trauma.
