Ontario Network of Victim Service Providers

As a professional community of practice, the Ontario Network of Victim Service Providers will promote awareness and raise the profile of Victim Service agencies across the province of Ontario.  It also supports the Victim Quick Response Program which provides immediate assistance to victims of violent crime.

The Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG) supports this province-wide directory of services it supports.  The directory is maintained by Findhelp Information Services for the MAG.

Ontario’s Missing Adults

Ontario's Missing Adults was created as a first-step in helping those who are searching for a missing adult in Ontario. It is a place where families can post information about a missing loved one. Police and other agencies are also encouraged to submit information about both missing and unidentified adults.  Case information presented on Ontario's Missing Adults is collected from three sources.

The Ontario Ministry of the Attonery General's Victim Support Line (VSL), a province-wide, multilingual, toll-free information line providing a range of services to victims of crime.

Ottawa Police Service: Victim Crisis Unit / Service de police d’Ottawa: L’Unité d’aide aux victimes en situation d’urgence

The Victim Crisis Unit (VCU) is dedicated to providing professional assistance and crisis counselling to victims of crime or tragic circumstances. The VCU also ensures that victims have access to the many resources and programs offered in the Ottawa Area.
