AMBER Alert

Public alerts for missing children are issued at a provincial or national level. In Canada, AMBER Alert programs are provincially operated. While most provinces have AMBER Alert Committees, only law enforcement can issue an AMBER Alert. Issued in instances when missing children or a child is in grave danger or an alert could assist in the safe recovery of a child.

Battlefords Victim Services is a non-profit organization, mandated by Saskatchewan Justice and overseen by a Board of Directors. All victims are treated with respect, and dignity and given as much support and information as possible to ensure that victims feel more comfortable with the legal system and all facets of their individual situation. Battlefords Victim Services offers a number of different programs to assist victims.

Be Web Aware

Be Web Aware is a national, bilingual public education program on Internet safety. The initiative was developed and supported by MediaSmarts, Bell and Microsoft Canada. It's all part of helping young Canadians benefit from the opportunities of the Internet while minimizing the potential risks.  Increase your awareness of how your kids are using the Internet and the issues they may encounter along the way.
