Ontario: Victim Support Line / Ontario: Ligne d’aide aux victimes
The Ontario Ministry of the Attonery General’s Victim Support Line (VSL), a province-wide, multilingual, toll-free information line providing a range of services to victims of crime. The VSL offers: •Information and referral to support services in your community; financial compensation programs provided by the Ministry of the Attorney General; the Victim Quick Response Program in your area; victim witness assistance; short-term counselling support •Access to information about provincially sentenced offenders. You can also register for automated notification when an offender’s status changes. (For information on federally incarcerated offenders (those whose sentence is more than two years), please contact Correctional Service Canada.)
