June 21

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on day 21 of June, repeating indefinitely

1982: National Aboriginal Solidarity Day, renamed in 2017.

In Canada, this day allows citizens to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse culture and in depth contribution of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples. Although these three groups are members of Indigenous groups, they all have very different heritage, culture and language.
