Handling Requests

‘Requests’ are when visitors fill out one of the forms on our site. When they do they immediately get a reply thanking them for the submission,

and a disclaimer about the replies (see e.g. Contact Us Thank You).

On the VJN side two things happen:

  1. An email of the details is sent to contact@victimjusticenetwork.ca
  2. The request is logged in the backend. You can see requests under the menu option [Staff > Requests]

It is the responsibility of VJN staff to:

  1. monitor either the email address or the request list (see The ‘Contact’ Email Address for accessing the contact email)
  2. follow up on the request if warranted
  3. mark the request as ‘Closed’
