Handling Requests
‘Requests’ are when visitors fill out one of the forms on our site. When they do they immediately get a reply thanking them for the submission,
and a disclaimer about the replies (see e.g. Contact Us Thank You).
On the VJN side two things happen:
- An email of the details is sent to contact@victimjusticenetwork.ca
- The request is logged in the backend. You can see requests under the menu option [Staff > Requests]
It is the responsibility of VJN staff to:
- monitor either the email address or the request list (see The ‘Contact’ Email Address for accessing the contact email)
- follow up on the request if warranted
- mark the request as ‘Closed’
Types of Requests
- Currently there are 4 types of requests:
- Collaborate: these come from /professional/collaborate
- Contact Us: these come from /contact
- Feedback: these are not currently active
- Services / Supports or Resources / Publications: these come from /involved/submissions
